Getting back into aircraft, I wanted to avoid the noise, smell, oil etc. of traditional motors.
Electric technology had come a long way, and it's still moving.
Now cadmac run an electric themed evening every year, and there are more aircraft each time. Of course indoor aircraft pretty well have to be electric too.

Nice things about electrics. No mess. Starts (and stops) when you want it to. Multi engines are easy. Balance stays constant.

Bad things. Cells are heavy. Charging takes ages. More expensive (although less so, as time goes on).
