When I was at school indoor flight was
limited to delicate free flight rubber things and electric round the pole.
Modern electronics now makes full control feasible, and this area has expanded
a lot recently.
The nice thing about indoor is that the weather doesn't matter.
The down side is the availability of a suitable space.
cadmac have solved this by using some funds
to hire the sports centre badminton hall for 3 hours each month through the
winter.
Still have to watch out for the rather solid walls.
To add a bit of fun we have pylon racing.
The hall is just about big enough to leave 1 end for free flight, while the
other is used for radio.
Still get the odd shower of confetti though.
